If you're in the quaint town of Danville, make sure to stop by Reine de la Patate, a hidden gem renowned for its mouthwatering poutine. Located at 246 Rue Water, this restaurant blends delicious food with a charming atmosphere, making it a perfect dining stop for both locals and visitors alike.
Patrons rave about the quality of the food, with Kris Chen noting the "good poutine" and the added enjoyment of their mini-golf course, albeit with a challenge factor. Sharon Lagace and Anthony Zwierzchowski echo the sentiment with their compliments on affordability and the delightful brown sauce atop the generous portions of cheese curds. The atmosphere shines especially with SUNNY ENG declaring it the best poutine in town, while Jean-Marc Basque highlights the excellence of their crispy fries.
In a nutshell, Reine de la Patate encapsulates a vibrant community spirit, where the deliciously comforting poutine pairs perfectly with the warmth of good company and a picturesque park setting. Don’t miss out on an unforgettable meal! Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a long leisurely lunch, this spot is an absolute must-visit.

Good poutine. We also tried the mini golf and had a lot of fun though the course is actually pretty hard

Yes, this may be far from the big city, but if you find yourself anywhere remotely close to Danville, make a detour and have a hotdog and a poutine. You won’t be disappointed. There’s parking just for motorcycles and an area for mini-putt. But what makes this place extra nice is heading around the back and scoring the picnic table at the top of the hill to overlook the water. It’s super classic and authentic when it comes to a proper greasy spoon. If you can’t decide on which sauce to get with your poutine, just go with the half and half.
